What card should you choose to pay for hosting?
The best option would be to choose either MasterCard Standard or Visa Classic. Cheaper card types usually do not support online payments, while more expensive card types don’t have any particular advantages when using them to pay for hosting. There are no differences between the cards themselves (only the brand), however, we recommend to use Visa. In rare cases MasterCard cards may block online payments.
How to pay via card?
In order to pay online using your card you need to enter the card number, its expiration date, card holder’s name and the verification code (CVV/CVC) located on the back of the card.
Is it a secure payment method?
To make sure that your card details are not stolen, install a reliable antivirus on your PC and do not enter the card details, if you consider a website suspicious. For instance, when a website does not have an SSL certificate installed (the green padlock in the address line). Choose only trustworthy hosting providers. Also, PayPal is often used to ensure that the card details are secured. You can read more information about PayPal and its features here.
