Article Submission Guidelines for Hostings.info
Hey there, partners!
If you’re planning to send us an article, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re always open to sharing useful, well-written content from our partners - whether it’s updates, expert takes or anything that could be helpful for our readers.
Publishing articles on Hostings.info doesn’t cost anything. That said there are a few guidelines we ask you to follow, just to keep everything clear and consistent. Nothing too strict. just what’s needed to make the content valuable and easy to read
Basic Requirements
What kind of article we're looking for
We don’t publish short announcements or recycled content. What we need is a proper, original article - something informative & complete. Ideally, text should be at least 250-300 words. If it’s in the 500 to 1000 word range, that’s usually spot on.
It must be original
We only accept content that hasn’t been published anywhere else. Please don’t send us rewrites, spun versions, or anything generated by AI tools. The article should be written specifically for our site - that’s important
Real value for readers
Ask yourself: would someone in the hosting space actually learn something from this?
If the answer is yes - great.
Topics can vary. You can write about:
- new tech and tools;
- practical advice or how-tos;
- details on how hosting and related services work;
- or maybe some market analysis, if you’ve got the data.
Show expertise
If you’ve got stats - use them. If someone on your team can share a quote or an insight - that’s even better. Real world experience and specifics are welcome.
Keep it neutral
Mentioning your product or company is fine. But the article shouldn’t sound like an ad. Try to keep tone informative and neutral. You can include screenshots or use examples from your own service - that’s totally okay as long as the main focus stays educational.
Add visuals
At least two images should be included. Screenshots, graphs, diagrams - all work. Just make sure they have clear captions, and that you’re allowed to use them.
Linking rules
We allow up to 2 or 3 links per article.
Just note: all links will go through a redirect page - they won’t be direct.
Author section
At the end of the article, please include:
- the author’s full name;
- a photo;
- their job title;
- and a short bio (just a line or two is enough).
A Few Extra Tips
Break it up a bit
Try not to dump everything in big blocks of text. Add some headings (like H2 or H3), and if something’s easier to list - go ahead & use bullet points. People read faster when things are spaced out.
How to write it
Keep it professional, but no need to get overly academic. Just be clear. If something sounds too technical - maybe reword it. You’re not writing for robots
Sending stuff
We’re okay with .docx, .txt or just share a Google Doc.
Images should come separately. JPGs and PNGs are totally fine.
One last thing about edits
We sometimes tweak the article a little bit - clean up typos, fix formatting, maybe adjust it for SEO Nothing drastic, we won’t rewrite your stuff. Just making sure it fits the site smoothly.
