Today they serve thousands of customers worldwide with everything from simple domain registrations to powerful dedicated servers.

They provide a 5-day free trial on their shared hosting plans and a 7-day trial on their VPS hosting, so you can try them out and see if you like them before committing to anything. Billing Cycle

HostPro offers flexible billing cycles on its hosting plans to cater to its ever-increasing customer base. Shared Hosting plans are available on monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, biennially, or triennial billing cycles, whereas VPS plans are made available only on monthly options.

They are now taking payment through Visa, Mastercard and Bank Transfers and through EasyPay, Paycell, LiqPay and Apple Pay.

Control Panel

For shared hosting you'll receive either industry-standard cPanel that we're familiar with and love, or DirectAdmin. They offer the Control Web Panel (CWP) or CyberPanel on VPS plans free of charge, although customers are equally able to purchase the DirectAdmin, cPanel/WHM, or the Plesk outright at an extra charge.

Limits

Their shared hosting runs on serious hardware - we're talking SuperMicro servers with Intel Xeon processors. The basic "Simple" plan gives you 10GB of SSD space and enough power for a couple of small websites, while the beefy "Hefty" option packs 60GB storage and can handle up to 30 sites - perfect if you're running multiple stores or busy blogs. All plans come with unlimited emails and bandwidth, plus 10 databases and free SSL certs.

For those needing more muscle, their VPS options are where things get interesting. You can choose between regular SSD or lightning-fast NVMe drives. The entry-level SSD plan starts modest with 25GB space, while their top NVMe monster gives you a whopping 480GB storage, 24GB RAM, and enough CPU cores to handle just about anything you throw at it.

Website Builder

HostPro includes the SitePro site builder as an optional paid feature. It's an adaptable program with drag-and-drop technology that allows quick modification of site elements without programming knowledge required. It features 190 fully editable templates, together with multiple ready-to-use widgets and features, and it's responsive so websites render correctly on any device. One of the leading builders in my opinion.

Security

HostPro doesn't mess around when it comes to keeping your site safe. They've got Cloudflare running the show - which is like having a bouncer and a speed boost rolled into one. It blocks those annoying DDoS attacks before they can take your site down, while their Web Application Firewall acts like a digital bodyguard, stopping threats in their tracks without making your site sluggish. For the nerdy stuff, UminifyAV keeps viruses at bay with scans so quick you'll barely notice them running. And hey - free Certum SSL certificates come standard, plus they've got your back with daily backups (literally, they save everything every day) so you can undo any oopsies with just a few clicks.

OS

For shared hosting, they use CloudLinux 8.10 - basically the Swiss Army knife of hosting OSes. It puts each account in its own little bubble so your neighbor's mess doesn't become your problem. If you're on a VPS, you get to pick your favorite flavor: Ubuntu (18.04 or 22.04), Fedora 32, several Debian versions, or the newer AlmaLinux and RockyLinux options. It's like an all-you-can-eat buffet for Linux lovers.

Support

If you've read some of my previous reviews, you will know that I value good technical support highly, luckily, this is another area where HostPro shines brightly! Their agents, available around the clock via Phone, Live Chat, Support Tickets, Facebook Messenger, or even Telegram, are friendly, well-trained, and eager to assist. Expect response times of less than a minute on Live Chat, and less than 20 minutes on email.

Conclusion

All in all, there is not much that can be written about HostPro in terms of complaints. They offer great, flexible, and affordable packages for everybody, beginners alike, veterans included. Their security is excellent, their support unparalleled. If you are in the market for a new provider, do yourself a favor and take a look at them!
