However, you can get the packages at a discounted price only if you purchase it for more than one year. The regular monthly pricing is twice as much as the discounted. Also, a setup fee ($15) is charged, if you decide to purchase a package for a month, for instance. Furthermore, be very attentive during checkout as domain privacy is added to your cart automatically, if you are registering a new domain name.

GreenGeeks also offer CMS optimized packages,for instance, WordPress or Drupal packages. The prices start from $2.95. Also, for some package the above mentioned conditions should be met as well.

Reseller hosting packages look more attractive. The pricing does not change, if you choose the smallest billing cycle. Also, all packages include unlimited disk space and bandwidth. Limits

The company’s ToS (Terms of Services) state that the company requires for all of their customers to be compliant with their Excessive Resource User Policy. However, the latter does not include any details of the real limits. It only says that the customer is not allowed to use 100% of the resources allocated to the hosting account.

Nevertheless, you can see that the number of inodes (files and folders) is limited. It’s possible to check it only in the control panel. For instance, the most basic Shared hosting package inode number is limited to 150 000, which is not that much. Security

CentOS runs on Shared and Reseller servers. No operating systems are available for VPS and Dedicated servers. You have to purchase and install it on your own.

The biggest advantage of this company is that they provide green (environmentally-friendly) hosting services. In general, the company provides nice hosting services. Shared hosting packages do include some security features, but VPS and Dedicated servers do not. To sum up, this kind of hosting would be more suitable for professionals rather than beginners.
