Aieshah ShahFatcow is cheaper than other hosting companies and also provide you different bonuses such as google ad credits and yahoo/bing vouchers but I have two main problems with them1- Support Team2- Speed IssuesTheir support team is not reliable, they have given a number but the wait time is insane they should have a chat option or at least quick ticketing response time. The second issue is speed and I believe they should improve their speed as my clients' website took ages to load. My client showed me GT Metrix reports and the load time is over 36 seconds which is not acceptable.Ariel murphyWhile FatCow typically is lesser known, they should not be underestimated. The price averages in comparison to the big name turnkey hosting providers, but FatCow once you are over the user learning curve offers superior speed to its counterparts like GoDaddy. For a small company, the plans are competitive and it offers the same as traditional large brands. I have found this hosting provider is better for businesses with it's optional integrations and services offered. The C-panel however, was a bit tricky so be prepared to spend some time on learning it.Dadson TAs a beginner, it’s hard to look away from FatCow once you discovered what the company offers. The company embodies diversity in hosting by offering scalable plans for shared, VPS, dedicated, and WordPress hosting. You also get free domain registration and customer support is always available. The biggest downside, however, is the lack of cloud ad reseller hosting.AbdelmadjidThe only positive points about FatCow is their initial prices and their fast reply support. One of the biggest issues with FatCow is that it is true that support reply fast, but not very helpful.James JohnsonFatcow especially focuses on the beginner's websites. It is a fun-friendly platform that a bit different from the industry in general culture. I have been one of their customers since 2016 and till now, satisfied with what I got returned.Pros:#Effective short-term budgeting and plans.#User-friendly dashboard.#Free domain name and transfer facilities.#Satisfactory advertisement feature. Cons#Upsells create confusion.#Customer support is not up-to-date as per the demand.Mirza SisicFatCow has a pretty straightforward and honest pricing plan. They are an eco-friendly host, with 30-day money back guarantee. Also they offer a bunch of free web icons. Up-time is a little lower then the average. Their hosting is relatively slow, fat cows usually are! Backups cost, they got way too many upsells, they charge extra costs for security features and support.Arnel ColarThere are many things I like about FatCow and one of which is it's very reliable uptime. My site hasn't been down for longer than 30 minutes and this case rarely happens. I also like that my plan includes daily backup. They say it's unlimited hosting but it does actually come with limitations. According to their terms and conditions page, if you use too much CPU, bandwidth and disk space, it will result in getting your account suspended. I don't like that there are too many upsells. Pop-ups will appear here and there and there are some free trials offered as well. Take note of these free trials because once the trial period expires, you will be charged for it.Anne SteziaNot to sound pessimistic, let me start with the pros. FatCow have fair pricing - they mention the renewal rates right next to the sign-up price. They advertise totally unlimited space/bandwidth/resources and stuff. You can register a domain name, choosing from more than 300 TLDs (most of which of course are the new ones, which are often involved in spam and hence some users tend to block entire TLD).But, this is yet another brand bought by EIG, which means that most likely their servcie will not grow and improve. Site interface is outdated, control panel used is VDeck (totally NOT friendly to the newbies). Unlimited will surely become limited soon, but with excuse like "we offer shared servers, which means that all users should fairly use resources without one account monopolizing everything" and blah-blah-blah. Uh, forgot to mention the speed. If you want the site to get good speed score, FatCow is definitely NOT a good choice, as the amount of users on the shared serevr plus the resoures of the server machine result in the increase in the load time.I don't think that a cute cow logo is worth signing up with them.
