Adnan BarwaniThe company is great for creating good-looking minimal websites, They have amazing apps which can add a lot to a simple website, They provide fast and reliable websites which really help in holding a customer and good Google ranking. The platform focuses mainly on selling the product which is the best part. but it lacks when it comes to refund and support. The thing is this platform is not for newbies, You need to have some knowledge about this, otherwise, you're gonna lose a lot of money here.Mark HI have used bigcommerce to run several e-comm stores and overall was quite happy with the experience. Pricing is fair, it's pretty easy to set up and build a site and the support is good as well. There's a lot of e-commerce solutions out there and this is definitely one of the better ones in my opinion. if you're just getting into e-commerce and need a solution this is definitely a good option to look at.ViktorBigCommerce is a hosted solution the gives you worry-free hosting for your webstore. For a merchant that does not want to control the server-side of the webiste, this is the way to go.It is much similar to the hosted solution called Shopify which I think would be a better fit for a beginner or someone that does not know a lot about designing a store. Developers for Bigcommerce are generally more expensive than Shopify for example and there are fewer options of Themes and Apps for it.In terms of speed and performance, it performed quite nice but a bit inconsistent especially in busy periods ( high website traffic).Overall, Recommended for more advanced users but not for starters.Deja LoucoI've used BigCommerce for about 2 years now and I love their backend. First, the page builder is so simple, even a child could use it! Next, they give you a full reporting system to track marketing efforts that is definitely not included with other web hosts. Everything is right there in the BigCommerce dashboard, so you don't have to leave the platform ever. They have amazing support too.<.span>Tony HuntHard to believe how far this crowed has come since the early days (2009) when they were a small Australian crowed called Intersipre Shopping Cart. Plans start from $30 per month and if you do not want to have to worry about the tech behind your store, they are the way to go. They have some nice importing and sync tools for Amazon and other drop shippers. If you need more flexibility and customisation capabilities and are happy to deal with some of the tech or project management yourself then perhaps using Woocommerce would be better. Their SEO and marketing tools are really worth checking out – AMP support, image optimization, CDN connection and a lot, lot more!There are some cons to BigCommerce, of course. Their prices are not quite cheap and the process of theme customization can be a little complex if you don’t have experience in web building. Also there is no mobile app that would allow you to build your e-commerce site on the go, but then again – small mobile screen isn’t the best place to handle all those customization options.If you are start-up with no immediate plans to scale, you might want to check out cheaper and simpler solutions. If you don’t hesitate to invest some to earn some more, BigCommerce is overall a good choice to do that.
