Francisco Panis KasekerGreate network latency and stability and excellent support. The anti DDoS is good and they help mitigate big attacks without nullroute the server. Also they filter connections by IP due a long score list that they have to mitigate potential IP attackers. The support for DDoS mitigation is 24x7 also. They offer a dashboard to monitor and controle their Konos anti DDoS solution. They are realiable and very good company, however expect high prices (what you pay is what you get on Akamai). If you need any kind of SLA in contract, they can guarantee the resources that you bought. The cloud solution can be controlled by API and they offer DevOps integration to make it easy. It work very well. The latency of their CDN is really great. I never used their web site performance solution, however I heard very good comments about them. And I did some sites performance tests that are hosted there and I saw excellent performance, mainly with media global distribution (work better than Cloudflare).james kiarieThis is a different type of hosting from your regular hosting providers. They specialize in application hosting such as database and web application hosting. They have also carved a niche for themselves a niche in CDN hosting with hundreds of servers worldwide to serve your webpages. Network scalability is superb and so is their uptime. With Akamai, you get prompt and wonderful customer support. On the flipside, Akamai hosting is tailored for big enterprises and is quite expensive for smaller businesses.
