First impression
Founded in 2003 by Ukrainian developers, this Kyiv-based hosting company has grown from a small operation into one of Ukraine's more substantial infrastructure providers. Maintaining independence through self-funding, they deliver services ranging from entry-level shared hosting to enterprise-grade dedicated servers, all supported by their Kyiv data center. This local presence ensures reduced latency for Ukrainian businesses while handling domain registrations, VPS deployments, and traditional hosting solutions under one roof.

Trial Period
Prospective clients can evaluate services through limited trial periods—five days for shared hosting or three days for VPS solutions. These windows allow testing core functionality without initial investment. Notably absent is a standard money-back guarantee; instead, Ukrainian Hosting emphasizes reliability through documented uptime commitments and technical response timelines in their SLA. Those requiring refund assurances should consult support directly before enrollment.
Billing Cycle
Flexibility defines their payment structure, offering monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual commitments alongside an innovative hourly billing model. This granular approach suits temporary projects or cost-conscious users who can activate resources precisely when needed. Payment processing accommodates international cards and Privat24, Ukraine's dominant financial services platform, streamlining transactions for local and international clients alike.
Control Panel
Administration options cater to diverse technical proficiencies. VPS users access ISP Manager Lite's streamlined interface, while shared hosting clients select between DirectAdmin's balanced functionality and cPanel's industry-standard toolkit. This tiered approach ensures appropriate complexity—from basic site management to advanced configuration via cPanel's extensive plugin ecosystem.

Limits
Their Shared Hosting plans come in 3 plans, namely the Malyuk, Optimal, and Reseller. The Malyuk (meaning toddler in Ukrainian), their entry-level plan, comes with 12GB SSD storage, 256MB RAM, 1 MySQL database, and a limit of 10 websites. The Optimal features 22GB SSD disc space, 512MB RAM, 10 MySQL databases, and a limit of 15 websites, whilst the Reseller plan comes with 32GB SSD space, 1GB RAM, 30 MySQL databases, and a limit of 30 websites. All Shared Hosting plans come standard with unlimited POP/IMAP email accounts and traffic, but one needs to be aware that there's no free SSL included.

Ukrainian Hosting's VPS plans, on the other hand, are available in various options. Users also have the option of choosing plans that come with standard HDDs or fast, high-performance SSD drives. These plans range from 2 Intel Xeon Cores, 1GB RAM, and 15GB Standard HDD on the VPS-500 plan, up to 4 Intel Xeon Cores, 3GB RAM, and 50GB SSD storage on the SSD VPS 2000 plan.

Website Builder
While they don’t bundle in a drag-and-drop website builder with its hosting plans, you’re certainly not left in the lurch if you want to build a site. Instead, you have the freedom to install a content management system (CMS) like WordPress or Joomla, which offers plenty of user-friendly tools to set up and manage a site. With WordPress, for example, you can start building right after installation by choosing a theme, adding content, and exploring thousands of plugins for extra features. In my opinion, these CMSs are better than a standard website builder as one can achieve much more.
Security
They offer the standard protections such as DDoS (Distributed Denial-of-Service) protections to defend sites against malicious traffic and use firewalls to block unauthorized traffic. SSL certificates are not offered, though SSL certificates can be purchased at an additional monthly fee. Routine virus scanning to identify and manage potential threats before becoming issues and filtering of spam are also included. I did notice, however, that even with many basics, no web application firewall (WAF) is included, which would give sites an added protection against threats at the application-layer.
OS
Ukrainian Hosting hosting packages provide a choice to use either the AlmaLinux or CentOS operating system with their Shared Hosting packages, both known to be reliable and stable operating systems with Linux, highly suitable to web hosting. The choices are slightly more flexible with the VPS packages, and users have a choice between CentOS, AlmaLinux, Ubuntu, or Debian. Debian in particular is a favourite with the server community due to stability and its open-source ideology. It’s a rock-solid operating system that’s a popular favourite to use with personal projects all the way to large systems where availability and security are paramount.
Support
Ukrainian Hosting provides 24/7 support through a ticketing system, which is ideal for tracking and resolving technical issues. They also offer email support for general inquiries, typically with response times within a few hours, though this can vary depending on the complexity. For quicker responses, especially for urgent questions, it’s generally better to call them directly. Unfortunately, there’s a noticeable lack of live chat. In my experience, the agents were helpful and relatively quick to respond.

In my opinion, if you’re considering Ukrainian Hosting for your website, it could be just what you need, or it might leave you wanting more, depending on your goals. It’s a solid option for small businesses, startups, or personal sites, especially if you’re looking for something straightforward and affordable. They’ve got all the basics covered, from VPS to Shared Hosting, with enough control panel choices to keep you comfortable whether you prefer cPanel, ISPmanager, or DirectAdmin. However, if you’re running a large enterprise operation or need advanced features, you might find it lacking. And while the support team is helpful, the lack of a live chat option could be frustrating if you’re used to instant responses.
