This provider offers a full 30-day free trial on their shared hosting plans, ample time to test things out, and ensure you're happy with their service before committing. However, it's important to note that the trial automatically renews at the listed price if you don't cancel in time (which must be done at least five days before the trial ends). Additionally, they offer a 20-day money-back guarantee to sweeten the deal further. If you cancel within this period, they’ll refund your money in full - no questions asked.

Billing Cycle

In their shared hosting plans they only offer an annual billing cycle, while their VPS plans, dedicated servers, and managed servers come in monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annual payment options, providing a bit more flexibility.

This panel is very user-friendly and comes with all the features found in panels such as cPanel, like managing emails, DNS, SSL certificates, databases, 1-click installs for CMSs, and more, and it also comes with their 'AI Site Assistant', which basically creates a website for you in minutes based on answers you provide. In my opinion, this panel is great for beginners as it is less technical than cPanel.

Limits

Their shared hosting plans, all running on lightning-fast NVMe SSD drives with OpCache that increases performance by storing precompiled PHP scripts in shared memory, and APC (Alternative PHP Cache), a framework for caching and optimizing PHP intermediate code, are available in three options. The 'Smart' plan, their entry-level option, comes with 512MB RAM, 50GB NVMe SSD storage space, 5x 1GB MySQL databases, and 10 POP/IMAP email accounts, certainly suited for more than just basic websites! Next up is the 'Advanced' plan which features 786MB RAM, 200GB NVMe disc space, 25x 2GB MySQL databases, and 50 POP/IMAP email accounts, while the 'Expert' plan, their top-tier option, boasts 1024MB RAM, 500GB NVMe storage space, 100x 5GB MySQL databases, and 100 POP/IMAP email accounts, perfect for large e-commerce and business websites that are resource intensive. All plans come standard with a complimentary SSL certificate by Let's Encrypt and are hosted out of their Brussels data center.

Their VPS plans on the other hand come in various options, ranging from 2 vCPUs, 2GB DDR4 RAM, and 75GB NVMe storage on the 'VPS X2' plan, up to 32 vCPUs, 64GB DDR4 RAM, and 1000GB NVMe disc space on the 'VPS X64' plan. These plans, however, are just guidelines as users can customize their own servers by choosing the amount of CPUs, RAM, and NVMe storage space they need. Their website will adjust pricing as you select your specs, so there are no ugly surprises come month's end.

Website Builder

To stay ahead of the competition, you need to keep up with the times—and Register.it does just that. They now include an 'AI Site Assistant' with all their shared hosting plans. With this artificial intelligence tool, users just need to follow the steps in the installation wizard, and it will create a fully functional, responsive WordPress site in minutes! This is perfect for users who have limited to zero coding knowledge (and no desire to learn how to code).

The WePanel control panel, which comes standard with all their plans, also includes 1-click installations for CMSs such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal, should you prefer to build the site yourself.

Security

Their data centers are ISO 27001 certified (Information Security Management), which means that an organization has robust controls to protect sensitive data, and covers risk management, cybersecurity policies, access controls, and breach prevention. On the account level, all plans come with a complimentary SSL certificate, advanced malware protection, hourly and daily backups, auto-patching, web filtering, DDoS (Distributed Denial-of-Service) attack protection, and sit behind a strict firewall. Measures that won't make you lose sleep at night knowing your site and data are safe!

OS

Register.it uses the CloudLinux operating system (OS), a very secure and stable OS that isolates all users from one another to prevent one customer from hogging resources (CPU, RAM, I/O), on their Linux-based shared hosting plans, and Windows Server 2019 on the Windows-based shared hosting options. An enterprise-level server OS optimized for Microsoft-based infrastructure.

Their VPS and dedicated servers on the other hand come with plenty of options, some I personally have never even seen offered by web hosting providers. Users can choose between Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlmaLinux, FreeBSD, Gentoo, OpenBSD, ArchLinux, Rocky Linux, Fedora, OpenSUSE, pfSense, and RancherOS, a container-optimized Linux distribution designed specifically to run Docker containers as its primary workload. If you are looking for Windows-based servers, you can choose between Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025.

If you need to contact their support team, you can reach them through live chat, phone (available daily from 9 am to 6 pm), or by submitting a support ticket in the client area. Their agents are knowledgeable, courteous, and well-trained. Response times are typically within one hour for tickets (depending on issue severity), while live chat responses are nearly instant.

Conclusion

It’s rare for a hosting provider to exceed my expectations, but Register.it has done exactly that! Their server OS options are mind-blowing, security is rock-solid, and support is top-notch.
