Control panel

LWS makes available to you on your cPanel hosting, a tool allowing the automatic installation of your Wordpress software. Thanks to this tool, Wordpress will be installed in a few minutes.

Click on “Manage” located behind the cPanel formula.

Go to the "Softaculous Apps Installer" section and click on "Wordpress". The tool will automatically install the latest version of Wordpress on your web space.

Limits

Like any other web hosting providers, LWS has limits on each of their hosting packages.

The pricing for each package is quite competitive.  Some of them are very low and others are just average, but overall there isn’t much to complain about in this area.  They give you what you pay for and a little more, so the price really shouldn’t be an issue for anyone considering hosting with LWS.

Limits starts at 100GB SSD Storage, 25GB Storage, 500GB Storage and so on. For the basic hosting package, you can only host a max of 1 website domain name and on the premium hosting package, you can host an unlimited number of website domain names.

With WordPress LWS hosting, they take care of everything for you (optimal configuration, security, backups, and even installation of the https SSL protocol) all this so that you can devote your time to designing, managing the content of your website.

Website builder

The Elementor builder is installed in its free version. So the version is limited and you don't have access to Elementor support.

Elementor is one of the best builders for WordPress sites.

Security

Mod Security protects in particular against spam and malware, and completely protects your site However, you have the option of disabling this web firewall.

The tech support can be easily reached through their ticketing system or online chat feature.  They are staffed 24/7 and have a good reputation for responding fast and getting your servers running properly if there is a problem.  Even if you just have a question, they will answer it right away.

The LWS website includes a comprehensive knowledge base with step-by-step tutorials, video tutorials, and FAQs. Since this didn’t answer all of my questions, I initiated a live chat but (unfortunately) received misleading information from the support agent:

They do have some nice documentation about their services that can help you to learn more and avoid problems.  They aren’t exactly ‘self-help’ documents, but they are very nice to have available.

Conclusion

LWS provides a decent range of hosting products at competitive prices, but it doesn’t really stand out, and it definitely needs to work on the quality of its live chat technical support.

Overall, this is a good company to consider if you’re looking for hosting in France.  They have been in business long enough to be able to serve you well and have done a good job at keeping their prices reasonable.
