Bogdan ValentinThey sold me a broken server, it reboots each 1 or 2 days. From their side, no solution. They retrieve me to test ram or cpu, but the problem has to be the motherboard. Garbage servers and insanely bad support. From now on I will spend the double and buy a server on a reliable place other than soyoustart.Adam PuccinoI have been renting from SYS since 2015. Hardware has been reliable. But their utilities are ALL VERY buggy. Interfaces in the control panel are all glitchy and don't always give accurate feedback on server status.Many broken or incomplete features in the panel. Things I thought were WIP, but are actually just poorly designed features. They carry over a ton of their knowledge base from OHV, unfortunately VERY little of it actually matches up with how SYS is designed. A lot of the information they reference is flat-out wrong and doesn't even apply to SYS. Good luck working out your own issues.Response time to tickets is usually no faster than 48hrs regardless of when or what the ticket is about.We have had Constant networking trouble with their services since day one.Vedran TrivicI use their dedicated servers since 2015, for that time I only faced one disk failure (where I had to intervene, test it in their recovery system, deliver them results of test, after I did they, they replaced disks in 30 minutes). There were some cooling problems later, but they informed me via mail, several days in advance, about down time. I didn't have any big problems with them, except they often need 20 days to reply on support ticket. My advice, create ticket and call them via phone. I have game dedicated servers now, they did great job with Anti Game DDoS. My big recommendation, if you are going to have game server.Whatever problem you report, they would ask you to verify it in their "resuce system" which is really bad in case you are providing "streaming" service to your clients (or like me, game hosting, where 300ms of time is important). But when you deliver them proof of an problem, they will fix it in a day, after they read your ticket. You are really gonna wait for several days on first reply from them in your ticket, but then they are bit faster in replying, day or 2, tops.Overall, for the price, hardware and services they offer, you are getting a really deal.Francisco Panis KasekerSoyoustart is a OVH startup division that sell OVH oldest servers and where they create new OVH productions, like gamer servers (with i7 overclocked CPUs) and anti ddos (like layer-4 and payer-7 protection from gamer servers). You can buy some good servers there, with 4-10 years old. The hardware replacement can be something more often than OVH, however they offer 4 hour of hardware replacement and it work really well (I already needed a lot of times and all of them they worked in less than 4 hours and also scheduled, when is possible to wait). About gamer servers, their antiddos team already helped me a lot to mitigate some attacks (to specific servers applications like Minecraft). Something that the OVH support never did. however they offer same support that OVH do. So, the support is not good, but you can get really cool services for best prices there, mainly when they offer some servers without setup cost. They offer 250mbps unmetered servers for essential (traditional) servers and 250mbps unmetered of clean traffic to game servers, and you can really use that whitout any limit. They will never null route you when you receive big bandwidth attacks and also you can ask the support to get Minecraft arbor profile (even if you do not use minecraft server). This is one the of the best antiddos arbor profile that I used (I helped them long years ago with a lot of network dump data to improve this profile). You can ask the same profile on OVH servers, but usually you need to justify. The soustart does not offer KVM as OVH (for free), but you you will have access to rescue mode, custom kernel and test hardware mode). Some very old servers does not work well with newest kernels, so take care of that. I will recommend them because they can offer excellent prices for north america and europe. Support is not good (as OVH), but the infrastrucute is very stable, they have a phone support and a 30min to send a human support to the server when the server is offline to check what happened. If is a software problem, they will put on rescue mode. If is hardware, they will replace fastly. Most of companies does not do that for high prices. If you take care about your data and backups, you will save a lot of money.
