First impression
SigloCero is a private web hosting company based in Paraná, Argentina, and was established in the year 2004. They offer Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Virtual Private Servers (VPS), Dedicated Servers, Domain Registrations, and Streaming Services. They are known for offering a free one-year domain registration with all the hosting packages. The company has a small but highly effective team of hosting professionals, with its main focus being the local Argentine market.

Trial Period
This host gives you a chance to try their hosting out with a 7-day free trial, which I'm informed is roughly standard across South American hosting firms. It's always a good idea to dip your toes, so to speak, before you actually commit. Just remember, of course, that the trial only concerns their shared hosting plans. If you're in the market for their VPS, dedicated servers, domains, or SSL certificates, those aren't included in the trial.
Billing Cycle
SigloCero offers a high degree of payment flexibility to Shared Hosting clients. You can be charged monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annually if you're willing to take the annual plan for a discount. Their VPS plans, however, keep things simple with a single monthly payment scheme.
They take credit or debit cards, including Visa and MasterCard, or PayPal as payment.
Control Panel
They employ the Odin Plesk Automation 11.5 control panel within their Shared Hosting offerings, which is great for site management, email, and general server administration through an easy-to-use, no-nonsense interface. Their VPS packages, however, come loaded with Plesk Obsidian Host Edition, a full-featured version geared towards power users and hosting firms. Since Odin Plesk 11.5 has a reputation for being easily accessible and simple, great for small environments, Plesk Obsidian shines with its extensive list of features, such as enterprise-grade security features, multi-server management, and support for a broad set of CMS environments. Both are solid solutions but Obsidian clearly wins in terms of flexibility and scaling.
Limits
Their shared hosting packages are available in three scalable packages. Their lowest shared hosting package, the Staff plan, offers 5GB disk space, 2 MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, 5 POP/IMAP email accounts (with 2GB of storage per account), and 50GB of monthly bandwidth, ideal for personal and small business websites. Next, they have the Advanced plan offering 10GB disk space, 5 MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, 10 POP/IMAP email accounts (with 2GB of storage per account), and 100GB of monthly bandwidth. Their top shared hosting package, the Premium plan, offers 20GB disk space, 10 MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, 20 POP/IMAP email accounts (with 2GB of storage per account), and 200GB of monthly bandwidth. Note, however, that these packages (as well as their VPS packages) still utilize traditional HDDs instead of faster SSD storage drives.

SigloCero VPS offerings are more varied. They stretch from the V-05 plan, with 1 vCPU, 512MB of memory, and 10GB of storage, up to the V-6 plan, with 4 vCPUs, 6GB of memory, and 60GB of storage space. Each of the VPS plans comes with one IPv4 and one IPv6 address.

Website Builder
SigloCero doesn’t include a website builder in their hosting plans, which isn’t a huge shock since many hosts don’t. On the bright side, you still have plenty of ways to get your site online. Since their hosting plans include Plesk control panels, customers can easily install popular CMS (Content Management System) software like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal with a few clicks. These systems include powerful tools to build and run a site even if you’re not a technology wizard. So, while there won’t be a drag-and-drop builder here, they do include the option to have a fully customized site if you want to do a little extra work.
Security
They do the basics adequately enough as far as security is concerned. Their hosting plans include firewalls, DDoS protection, and automatic backups, which will give you a sense of security. They also have antivirus and anti-malware protection to safeguard against the common threats. They don’t say anything about advanced security options such as intrusion detection systems - I asked their support staff, and they informed me it’s not included - or two-factor authentication for user accounts, which these days are becoming the norm. To provide an added layer of security, they do have advanced SSL certificates for purchase, which are necessary to encrypt data and win the trust of your visitors. That being said, all hosting plans do have a free SSL certificate from Let’s Encrypt included as standard. Their security options provide a good base, but there is potential for improvement for those users who require more advanced protection.
OS
Their operating system offerings cater to both the faint of heart and the adventurous. Their shared hosting accounts arrive pre-installed with CentOS 6.10 by default, rock-steady for rock-solid, old-school server setups. Now, if you're taking the VPS route, you're treated to a regular feast of operating system choices to indulge in. Want CentOS 7 or 8, perhaps? FreeBSD 12.3 or 13.1? OpenBSD 7.1 or 7.2? Fedora 39? Debian 10 or 11? AlmaLinux 8? Ubuntu (with flavours from 18.04 all the way to 24.04)? All of them receive an invitation to the party. You can even opt for the lesser-seen choices like NetBSD or DragonFlyBSD 6.4, with its ground-breaking Hammer file system and performance ace reputation when handling multiple CPUs - ideal for complex workloads.

Support
If you do have any problems, you can reach their helpful support staff by Phone, Email, Support Tickets, or Live Chat. For technical assistance or general info, their ticket system is always the initial point of contact, and they're said to respond within 24 hours (although it's generally quicker in my experience - I was dealt with within 2 hours on both occasions), at least within standard business hours, in any case. Email response times are similar, with high-priority or urgent matters dealt with first. Although they do have a Live Chat facility on their website, it was unavailable at the time of review - hopefully only a temporary glitch. Their support is otherwise excellent, and the representatives are friendly. A joy to do business with!

SigloCero might be a great hosting choice, but it all depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re a tech mastermind who loves the freedom and a staggering variety of operating system options (yes, even DragonFlyBSD!), their VPS plans will be hard to resist. They’re also a safe bet for big corporations or individuals who need serious hosting with no-nonsense plans. If you’re a beginner in the hosting world or someone who relies on user-friendly options like website builders or needs lightning-fast SSD storage, though, SigloCero might not be your thing. They’re reliable, though, and are worth a shot.
