First impression

MilesWeb is an India-based web hosting provider and internet domain registrar, that was founded in 2012 by Deepak Kori, Chetan Mahale, and Chinmay Dingore, with the aim to provide reliable and affordable hosting solutions bundled with superior support.

1-thumb.png

This award-winning company hosts a million+ websites and serves over 50,000 customers across the globe from their Tier-4 data centers (built to be completely fault-tolerant and have redundancy for every component). These are based in India, the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia and Singapore. They currently offer a wide range of super-fast web-hosting plans, all running on SSD NVMe drives, including Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS Hosting, and Dedicated Servers.

Trial Period

MilesWeb doesn’t offer any free trial periods for new users to try out their services but rather has a 30-day, full money-back guarantee on their Shard hosting offerings. Should you feel they are not the right fit for you or fail to meet your hosting expectation, you can request a full refund by contacting their billing department.

On their VPS Hosting plans, the guarantee is limited to 7 days.

Billing Cycle

MilesWeb offers a wide variety of hosting plans with an easy, user-friendly signup process. On Shared Hosting, users will have the option to choose between paying monthly, annually, or triennially, with some tasty discounts, up to 80% even, on offer for longer commitments, whilst on VPS Hosting you can choose between monthly or annual terms.

They currently accept all major Credit Cards, PayPal, RuPay, and Google Pay as valid payment methods.

Control Panel

As their range of hosting options is so broad, it comes as no surprise that they also offer multiple control panels to suit your specific needs. On Shared Hosting there is DirectAdmin and cPanel for their Linux-based servers, and Plesk for Windows options.

Their VPS plans will give you the option to choose between DirectAdmin, cPanel, Plesk (for Windows), and Webuzo Control Panel (a Multi-User Control Panel which helps you manage your cloud or dedicated server).

Limits

MilesWeb has 3 options to choose from on their Shared Hosting, namely Ignite, Elite, and Stellar – all coming in at ridiculously low prices. The entry-level plan features 50GB NVMe SSD storage space, 2 email accounts, 1 database, unmetered bandwidth, and you are allowed to host a single website. Elite will give you 75GB space, 20 email accounts, 10 databases, and 5 websites, whilst Stellar boasts 200GB hosting space, 100 email accounts, and 100 databases. This is also the only one that includes a free domain registration.

All Shared plans come standard with daily backups and LiteSpeed + LSCache for an all-in-one site acceleration solution.

Their VPS hosting has multiple options, all scalable to suit your specific needs. The entry-level plan starts with 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 25GB NVMe SSD space, and 1 TB Bandwidth, whilst their top plan features 12 vCPUs, 24GB RAM, 500GB NVMe SSD space, and 12 TB Bandwidth.

All VPS plans come with SSH/SFTP Access and run on an unrestricted 1Gbps network to ensure fast loading times.

Website Builder

On their Shared Hosting environment, MilesWeb includes the SitePad Website builder, a popular WYSIWYG website creator software, for free. It’s a super easy-to-use, drag-and-drop builder and comes packed with over 850 Responsive Themes, 40+ widgets, and more.

Security

All MilesWeb Shared Hosting plans come standard with a free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate, a free Web Application Firewall to keep all applications and Apl’s secure, a complimentary Malware scanner to find and remove threats in real-time, and enhanced DDoS Protection that includes making use of Anycast Nameservers, meaning any of a number of DNS servers can respond to DNS queries, most likely the one that is geographically closest, to provide the response. This reduces latency, improves uptime for the DNS resolving service, and provides protection against DNS flood DDoS attacks.

Users also have the option of buying more advanced SSL certificates, like a Rapid SSL, Wildcard SSL, or TrueBusinessID EV, at an additional monthly cost.

OS

MilesWeb runs CentOS (a manageable platform that suits a wide variety of deployments) on their Shared Hosting plans, whilst their VPS servers offer users to choose between CentOS, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux 8, Debian, ArchLinux, Rocky Linux, Fedora, or the FreeBSD operating system.

Support

MilesWeb prides itself on its impeccable support, which has been a pillar of its success. Their expert support agents are friendly, well-trained, and available 24/7 through Live Chat, Email, or Phone. To get in touch with MilesWeb support, or their billing department, you will have to log in to your client area first. I have tried them out on Live Chat, as well as email, and both response times were impressive, to say the least. Live Chat only took 10 seconds for a reply, whilst my email was answered within a minute.

Conclusion

Pros Cons
  • Performance-driven hosting plans;
  • Excellent Support;
  • Free SSL certificates;
  • 30-day money-back guarantee;
  • 99.9& Uptime guarantee.
  • No SFTP on Shared Hosting options;
  • Some plans seem over-complicated.

Overall, Miles Web seems to be a solid option for pretty much any kind of hosting. Their support is top class, prices ultra-affordable, and performance excellent. Some plans might overwhelm newbies as I feel they overcomplicate things but in general a good choice for novices and big corporations alike.

Tanya BurgwinI had an extremely negative experience with Milesweb. I would NEVER EVER recommend their services to anyone.All of my websites suddenly went offline — 6 websites in total. I completely lost access to my hosting files and was unable to download any backups. On top of that, around 20 email accounts stopped working, which meant I lost access to important client correspondence and business information. This caused serious damage to my operations.Attempts to contact support were unsuccessful. Nor Help from my hosting or their own website was working. The most frustrating part was that 2 months later, instead of resolving the issues, I was simply asked to make another payment to continue hosting — despite the fact that my services had already been inaccessible for last 2 months. Imagine these indian bustards? They are not hosting-they are indian SCAM.COMCloud EyeVery poor hosting services, MilesWeb team will take all your files and replace them or they completely take out from cpanel. It happened to my LIVE site, suddenly took all the files and entire site. Also they took hosting cpanelPawan SinghI'm a website developer so I have to provide websites to my clients.Sometimes I got a low budget project for which I used milesweb shared hosting. Their support is very bad. So if you are not an expert then it may become a headache.Their uptime is not good. They offers unlimited bandwidth but they provides very low bandwidth Which is not good if you have too many visitors.You can use it for new website but my experience is not good with milesweb hosting.Babar AliI have been using Milesweb to host my restaurant website for over two years. I can safely assure anyone thinking of opting for Milesweb that they are one of the best web hosting companies I have worked with so far. Milesweb offers some unique hosting plans that are affordable and have some decent features. Throughout my experience, the support team always responded to my queries promptly and went leaps and bounds to solve my website issues. The only flaw I have found is that the website backup feature automatically deletes my backups on Sundays, so I have to download them before that.Moreover, the website's loading time on Milesweb was not so great outside India. While Milesweb offers SSD storage space and email accounts in all plans, they are limited except only in the priciest plan.Nevertheless, Milesweb is an excellent website, especially if you own a website in India.Maaz KhanAlthough Milesweb had a good hosting plan, their website builder was terrible. I also attempted to use WordPress, but I was only able to access the first page. I labored for hours on agonizingly slow chat support in vain. I really wanted to like this firm, but sadly, trying to get assistance was like pulling teeth.Sonia QasimAbout three years ago, when I joined up for Milesweb Hosting, everything was going well. The customer service representatives were incredibly helpful and promptly addressed all of my inquiries. But it appears that the quality of customer service has declined recently. The reaction time has increased from what it was previously. Go for it if you're a newbie.erik kovachI have used MilesWeb web hosting services for medium-size projects.I chose their services mostly because of their very low cost hosting plans.Unfortunately, I experienced several problems regarding their bandwidth, and the speed of their services. Although I didnt experienced any major complication, the speed was not comparable to other hosting alternatives.Their website is intuitive but not well designed, and the only occasion I tried to ask for support, I did not receive any answer.I would only recommend it if you are looking for a cheap hosting service.Jordan JonesI have used MilesWeb recently on behalf of an end user moving a WordPress website to their Geeky shared hosting package. Whilst cheap, the packages are more limited than most providers with limits on normally all inclusive features such as additional domains, databases, etc. The overall speed and performance was about average, and support was poor. Good value, but poor overall quality in a market where quality is a standard.HarrisMilesweb offers fantastic service for a very affordable rate. Because of the light speed server, my WordPress page loads pretty quickly. I personally recommend Milesweb for WordPress sites . The load times are good. Currently I'm using their WordPress Business hosting package.ImranI prefer Milesweb because it's user-friendly and inexpensive, offers a wide range of fascinating features and extras at every price point, and has a variety of plans to suit all budgets. Milesweb is genuinely among the top few products that I would recommend for everyone.SoniaI need dependable web hosting because I'm a designer. Milesweb is simply outstanding in terms of both quality and customer support. The user interface is also one of the best. Simple to use and intuitive. As opposed to other, larger sharks that, after the first year, only worry about jacking you for more money.Rohan JoshiMiles Web a 10 years old hosting company needs to work more to be stable in the market. No doubt they offer cheaper Hosting plans to new business owners but that’s not enough because after-sales services are the most important part for the Hosting providers. I haven’t used their services personally but some of my customers used their services and after getting many issues they migrated to better-hosting services like Hostgator and GoDaddy. I won’t recommend them to any new business owners.
