Trial Period
They do not provide a trial period for their services but instead have a refund policy with certain terms in place. For VPS package hosting, customers are eligible for a 30-day money-back policy when they opt for an annual commitment. Dedicated server package on the other hand, come with a much shorter return policy of 5 days, available only with an annual commitment also.
Billing Cycle
On a payment terms front, Kdatacenter is also pretty straightforward with two options: monthly or yearly payments, irrespective of whether you are applying for their VPS or Dedicated Server offerings. This will appeal to businesses quite well who want short term flexibility or long term discounts, as is applicable. In case you need quarterly or other mid-period payment terms, though, then you will have to search somewhere else.
Payment-wise, Kdatacenter has several payment options like PayPal, Alipay, Paymentwall, direct bank transfer, and BitPay, a crypto payment company, to provide convenience to local as well as overseas customers.
Control Panel
At Kdatacenter, there is no pre-installed control panel on VPS and Dedicated Servers. Instead, root full access is given to users, and it is entirely left to them to install and configure their preferred control panel. For VPS clients, there is an easy reboot feature on the customer control panel for seamless operations. For dedicated server clients, there is IPMI offered for remote management, albeit this facility is offered at an additional charge of $5 a month.
Limits
Kdatacenter's Shared Hosting plans are available in twelve scalable plans, 6 on fast SSD drives, and 6 on even faster NVMe SSD drives. These plans start with the VPS 100L SSD plan that features 1 vCPU, 1GB RAM, and 100GB SSD disc space. On the other end of the spectrum, they offer the VPS 3200 NVMe plan, which boasts an incredible 32 vCPUs, 64GB RAM, and 100GB NVMe storage space. All their VPS plans come standard with 1000GB Bandwidth, TCP Acceleration, and Daily Snapshots, and run on a 1Gbps Network. Furthermore, if you like to change the OS, they will do that for you within 4 hours at no additional cost.

Website Builder
If you're looking for a hosting provider with a website builder, Kdatacenter.com probably isn’t your best bet. Their focus is laser-sharp on VPS and Dedicated Server hosting, which cater to more advanced users who prefer full control over their environments. They don’t dabble in the shared hosting realm, so there’s no drag-and-drop website builder or pre-made templates here. Instead, they provide the infrastructure and let you handle the rest. If you’re tech-savvy or have a specific setup in mind, this hands-off approach might be perfect. But for beginners needing a quick way to launch a site, you’ll likely need to pair their hosting with a third-party website builder.
Security
Their data centers have on-site 24/7 monitoring, robust access controls, and a secure physical environment to safeguard servers. For added peace of mind, they also offer state-of-the-art DDoS protection and hardware-based firewalls as additional add-ons. These safeguard against malicious attacks like TCP, UDP, and CC attacks and deliver uninterrupted uptime through load balancing.
And while this is true, Kdatacenter does not have core security features like firewalls or DDoS protection in their plans by design, and rather leaves it to customers to purchase these addons. This is a flexible strategy, nonetheless, and may disappoint users expecting security features to be part of.

OS
When it comes to operating system options, Kdatacenter.com really goes above and beyond. They let you pick from a whopping variety, including Linux favorites like Rocky Linux (versions 9 and 8), Almalinux (versions 9 and 8), and several CentOS options (from CentOS 8 all the way down to CentOS 6). If you're a fan of Ubuntu, you'll feel right at home with versions ranging from the cutting-edge 24.04 to the almost vintage 12.04. Debian users are covered too, with choices from Debian 12 to 10. And for Windows enthusiasts, you've got everything from Windows 2022 Server Standard to Windows 10 Pro.
For their dedicated server plans, they also throw in Proxmox VE 8.x as an option, which is a powerhouse virtualization platform. It’s great for managing containers and virtual machines, especially for folks who want an open-source alternative to VMware. Proxmox VE also includes a handy web-based interface, making it easier to monitor resources and manage tasks. With all these choices, you're truly spoiled for flexibility!

Support
Kdatacenter provides a range of support channels to ensure users can get assistance when needed. You can reach their team 24/7 via email, Live Chat through Telegram and QQ, a popular instant messaging (IM) platform, or by Phone, with separate lines for English and Korean support. While the response times for email and chat might vary depending on the query, their technical support generally prioritizes issues efficiently. The service I received from their technical support was impeccable - every ticket logged was answered in detail and within 2 minutes! They also offer an FAQ section for self-service, but it’s worth noting that their knowledge base is somewhat limited.

Kdatacenter.com doesn't offer a wide range of services but instead stays laser-focused on doing a select few things exceptionally well, and that is providing VPS and Dedicated Server hosting. If you're running a website that demands high-performance servers and complete control over configurations, this could be your perfect match. With a variety of OS options, solid DDoS protection, and reliable SSD storage, they cater to developers, businesses, and anyone with serious hosting needs. However, if you're a beginner looking for guidance, website builders, or pre-installed cPanel, you might find yourself out of luck since they're all about getting down to business. If you're in the market for Korea-based hosting with these features, I highly recommend checking them out!
