Shared hosting is divided into two categories: regular and premium. The latter has higher resource capacity. The cheapest regular package is at $1.3/mo (if you purchase it for 1 year) and the cheapest premium package - $17.40/mo (if you purchase it for one year). If you order a regular Shared hosting package that includes a control panel (cPanel or ISPmanager), the monthly pricing is at about $2.04 per month (if you order it for one year). Also, you can get a free .ru domain name with almost all Shared hosting packages. Generally, Shared hosting is quite cheap.

Also, the company provides Linux, Windows and KVM VPS servers. The are quite cheap. As for Dedicated servers, the leave a mixed impression. On one hand, the server characteristics look good: lots of disk space and high RAM volume. On the other hand, the CPU models are rather old but quite powerful.

Trial period

The company provides a 7-day trial period for Shared hosting. To order it, you need to register an account and pre-fund it at $0.8. This amount will be refunded at the end of the trial period in case no rules or policies (for instance, using hosting to build a phishing site or to send spam) were violated during this period. For legal entities (company accounts) it required to provide certain company documents to order a trial period. The list of the required documentation can be obtained from the support team.

As for VPS servers, IHC provides a 3-day trial for them. No specific limits or restrictions are applied for the packages during trial period.

Registration process - quick

To register an account, you need to enter your email address, create a password and confirm the account registration by clicking on the link in the verification email. Make sure that you’ve entered a valid email address, as all of the important notifications regarding your hosting package and/or domain name will be sent to it.

Control panel - cPanel, ISPmanager, custom-built

For Shared hosting packages, you are welcome to choose any of the above mentioned panels. The custom-built control panel is quite comfortable. It includes the control panel settings as well as the billing section where you can check the list of the ordered products and buy new ones.

You can install either a free VestaCP or a paid cPanel on your VPS server. For Dedicated servers only paid versions of ISPmanager are available.

Security

IHC offers two-factor authentication feature to secure your user account. Also, it is possible to enable login notifications. They will be sent to your email address or phone number. Both of these features can come in handy.

As for hosting security, the company provides anti-DDoS protection for all of their packages.

Also, VPS and Shared accounts are fully isolated from each other so your account should not be influenced when your server ‘neighbour’ is undergoing a DDoS-attack or contains malware. There is also a possibility to isolate your websites (php-scripts will be able to change files only in the directories where they are located). So, in case one of your websites is hacked, the hacker will not gain access to the rest of the websites hosted in your account.

A full backup is created once a week for Shared hosting packages. Afterwards, only those files that have been edited are backed up. The company can store up to 14 backups a month for free. If you need a bigger backup storage or to save more backups, you can purchase backup service separately (pricing starts from $0.5/mo). For VPS and Dedicated servers you need to create backups on your own, however, you can purchase an additional storage for them.

Limits

For Shared hosting packages it is possible to send up to 100 emails per hour and no more than 1000 emails per day. You can create up to 9999 email boxes, however, the disk space dedicated for all of your email boxes is limited to 100 Mb. The maximum memory capacity (memory_limit parameter) is 128 Mb per one php-script and maximum script execution time is 30 sec.

Support

The company provides 24/7 chat, ticket and phone support. Also, you can contact them via certain messengers (VK and Telegram). Generally speaking, the support level is rather poor. The representatives are quick but not accurate.

Conclusion

A cheap and a quite secure hosting provider. There are lots of different plans, so almost any user can find a suitable hosting package to fit his needs. The support quality is not very high, however, this hosting is still worth a try.
