First impression
Host House is a web hosting provider that has been in the game since 2004. The company, based in Kazakhstan, focuses on providing reliable and secure hosting solutions and currently offers Shared Hosting, Email Solutions, and Domain Registrations primarily to the local hosting market. They consist of a close-knit team of hosting professionals and currently host more than 700 websites.

Trial Period
They don’t offer a free trial with any of their hosting plans, nor do they have a refund guarantee of any kind. Even if their services seem to be more focused on reliability and stability than others, not having such a consumer-friendly policy does not give users the freedom to test the platform risk-free. If you are someone who prefers a "try-before-you-buy" situation or the guarantee of a refund policy, this could be a deterrent, but think that their plans do have a monthly price tag, so if it is not the fit, little will be lost.
Billing Cycle
Host House offers both monthly, quarterly, and annual billing cycles for their hosting plans. But here’s the strange part: opting for an annual plan doesn’t give you that sweet discount we’ve come to expect—it actually costs slightly more! It’s one of those quirks that makes you do a double-take and double-check the math. In my opinion, while monthly billing makes sense for short-term needs, the lack of savings on an annual commitment feels like a missed opportunity to reward loyal customers.

They currently only accept Bank Transfers as a valid payment option.
Control Panel
They include the cPanel control panel with all of their hosting packages at no extra cost, and that is a definite plus to the client. In case you didn't know, cPanel is basically the norm in web hosting. It is widely known and popular due to the ease of use of the interface and the top-of-the-line tools that let you maintain your website without having to be a technical wizard. One-click software installation of top applications, top-of-the-line security features, and easy file management are all in place to simplify your hosting experience.
Limits
Host House offers its Shared Hosting in five scalable options: Business Card, Mini, Mini Business, Business, and Representation. The Business Card plan includes 1 Core CPU, 1GB RAM, 2GB SSD disk space, and supports up to 2 websites. As the name suggests, it is suitable for very basic websites. Next is the Mini plan, which offers 1 Core CPU, 2GB RAM, 6GB SSD storage, and a limit of 3 websites, providing decent specs and good value for money. The Mini Business plan shares the same CPU and RAM specs as the Mini but comes with 10GB SSD disk space and supports up to 5 websites. Moving on, the Business plan includes 2 Core CPUs, 2GB RAM, 20GB SSD space, and can handle up to 25 websites. Finally, at the top end of the spectrum, the Representation plan features 2 Core CPUs, 2GB RAM, 30GB SSD storage, and supports up to 30 websites. All plans come standard with unlimited MySQL databases, subdomains, and FTP accounts.

Website Builder
Unfortunately, Host House doesn’t offer any website builder tools as part of their hosting packages. Instead, you’d need to rely on external platforms or learn to install and manage a CMS like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal, to name a few, yourself. These are powerful tools that allow users to create, manage, and modify digital content on a website without needing extensive technical knowledge or coding skills.
Security
They have implemented some key security features to safeguard their hosting plans and infrastructure. They offer encrypted channels via SSL certificates (an added cost) to transfer data, very important to have in my opinion. They also have DDoS protection to act as a shield against cyberattacks and maintain sites online, and they also employ CageFS, where each client remains isolated from the others, and a breach that compromises one will not compromise the others. However, there are areas where their security could improve. For instance, they do not mention advanced security features like Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) or two-factor authentication for account access. These omissions leave room for potential vulnerabilities in user protection.
OS
Host House uses the CloudLinux operating system for its hosting plans. A personal favorite of many, CloudLinux is a shared hosting standout because it virtualizes each client account within its lightweight virtualized environment (LVE) that improves the server security and performance. This arrangement prevents a single hacked account or resource-demanding client from impacting others under the same server, and this is a wonderful feature that produces consistent performance between accounts.

Support
If you run into trouble, you can reach their support agents via phone, email, or WhatsApp, giving you plenty of options to choose from. Response times typically vary depending on the channel you use. For urgent issues, I would suggest phone support or WhatsApp, as these can provide quicker answers, while email responses may take a little longer. In my experience, responses took almost four hours via email, which is far from solid customer support. Besides taking such a long time, the agents also came across as blunt, getting straight to the point without the warm and engaging response one would expect.

Host House is one of those hosting providers that feels like it’s trying to walk the line between budget-friendly and functional, but how well they pull it off depends on what you’re looking for. If you're a small business owner, blogger, or someone launching a basic website with moderate traffic needs, their offerings can be a solid choice. The plans are reasonably priced, and features like DDoS protection, unlimited MySQL databases, and subdomains add some decent value. However, if you're running a high-performance e-commerce site or need advanced tools like a built-in website builder or robust customer support, you might find them a little lacking.
