First impression

The website looks more or less professional and user-friendly. Shared hosting packages are divided into Windows, Linux, VIP (for both systems) and Bitrix. All of the packages, except Bitrix, are rather small and more expensive in comparison with foreign hosting providers. For example, for $4.19/mo you can get only 10Gb disk space, 5 domains, 10 databases and 15 email accounts. Not much, actually.

The company offers Reseller Linux and Windows packages. Their resource capacity is not very high and the disk space is limited to 40Gb maximum, however, they’re quite cheap: $8.36 to $16.30.

VPS packages are divided into standard and premium. Both type of packages have nice resources. Though, the processors seem to be a bit weak. Also, international traffic is limited from 40Gb/mo to 100Gb/mo which is not much.

Dedicated servers packages have lots of resources, however, similarly to VPS plans they have quite weak processors. For instance, 22Gb RAM, 2TB of disk space and only 8 CPU cores 2.1 GHz. Prices vary from $70 to $163 per month. Additionally, HiTex offers FTP and NAS servers separately. They can be used for different purposes: to store files, backups, to make your own cloud storage etc. The prices are fairly competitive.

Trial period

There is no exact information regarding trial periods. According to their support team, it is possible to request a 3-4 days trial period for Shared hosting packages. To do this, it's required to contact them.

Billing cycle

All hosting packages have monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual cycles.

Control panel

Plesk is included to each Shared hosting package, including Windows and Reseller ones. For VPS packages it is possible to install Plesk, ISPmanager, cPanel. All of them are paid. The price varies between $5.60 to $16.30 depending on the panel type and version.

Limits

VPS, Bitrix and Dedicated servers packages have their usual bandwidth, RAM, disk space and CPU cores limitations. Also, domestic (within Belarus) traffic is unlimited. As for Shared hosting, they have similar limitations as well number of email accounts, domain names and databases restrictions. Some packages, for example, VIP hosting has unlimited databases and email accounts. In addition, bandwidth is unlimited for all shared hosting plans. Security

All shared hosting packages include anti-spam, hardware firewall and email antivirus. As for VPS, Bitrix and Dedicated, they are protected by hardware firewall. In addition, full backups are created every day for all hosting packages, except Dedicated. For the latter, backups are a paid feature, at $4.19 per month.

OS

CloudLinux runs on Linux Shared, VIP and Reseller servers and Windows Server 2012 - on Windows Shared, VIP and Reseller servers. CentOS is installed on Bitrix servers. As for VPS and Dedicated servers, Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu, Fedora and Windows Server are available. Also, CloudLinux is available for VPS at $12.57/mo.

Support

The company provides ticket and phone support. Phone support works Monday till Friday from 10am to 6pm. Email support has similar working hours: Monday till Friday from 10am to 8pm and 10am-6pm on weekends. So, it is clearly not 24/7 which is a great minus for the company. Nevertheless, the knowledge base looks fine and covers basic topics. In addition, it is possible to purchase additional technical support for Bitrix, VPS and Dedicated servers packages.

Conclusion

The company makes mixed impression. On one hand, they offer nice and affordable VPS and Dedicated packages. Also, Bitrix hosting seems to be a good deal. Furthermore, the backup policy is fair. Moreover, the FTP and NAS servers are a good solution for different purposes (backup storage, cloud etc). On the other hand, Shared hosting packages are rather overpriced and small. Also, the support is rather slow and the knowledge base is not quite full. Generally, it is possible to find better and cheaper shared hosting services. Nevertheless, VPS, Dedicated and Reseller hosting are worth a try.
