Ivan MarinBlacknight is a neat Irish company providing various domain and hosting packages - web hosting, dedicated servers etc. As for domain registration, they boast to be an ICANN accredited domain registrar. They are also proud to be a "100% Irish owned company, based in Ireland" - emphasizing that most likely means they are more oriented towards Irish market than international. I for one don't particularly care where is the company based or by whom it is owned as long as the service is good, the speed is decent at least and the price is affordable.I have to say, I was more than satisfied with their services, both with the range and the quality. They offer quick and capable support and have fast response speed (0.68 s of loading time - not great but definitely good). The price is not so great - 4.95€ (about 5.63$) per month for the smallest web hosting plan plus the 4.95 € one-time fee for plan activation (more expensive packages don't have that fee), and if you want backup (you should always want backup) you have to pay extra 1.99€ per month. Blacknight is not cheap, but it's worth the price, in my opinion.
