First impression
Verpex is a 100% privately-owned hosting company with headquarters in London, UK. This young company was founded in 2018 by a group of seasoned hosting professionals after they sold their previous hosting company to Godaddy. Within only 4 years, they were already hosting more than 250,000 websites for their seemingly happy customer base that span 181 countries around the globe – an incredible feat for such a new provider!

A Brief Video Introduction from Verpex Company
Trial Period
Very few hosting providers offer free trial periods these days, and Verpex is no different. They do however have a 45-day money-back guarantee on all Shared Hosting plans, which is longer than most. You can try out their web hosting services and if for any reason you decide it doesn't suit your needs, they'll give you a full refund – no questions asked.
On their Managed Servers, there is a 7-day money-back policy.
Billing Cycle
For their Shared Hosting plans, Verpex offers their customers the option of signing up on a monthly, yearly, or triannual basis, with big savings on longer commitments. By choosing the 36-month plan you could save as much as $280. Their Managed Servers have monthly, 6 months, or 12 months options.
Verpex Hosting accepts all major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Amex, and Discover, as well as PayPal as valid payment methods.
It's important to note that payment options may vary over time, and new options may become available.
Control Panel
Verpex Hosting utilized the cPanel control panel for their hosting services. cPanel is by far the most popular and widely used control panel in the web hosting industry. It provides an intuitive graphical interface that allows users to manage various aspects of their hosting account and website.

On their Managed Servers WHM is included for root level access.
Limits
Verpex Shared Hosting plans are run on super-fast NVMe SSD drives and LiteSpeed Webservers. They come in 3 options namely, Bronze, Silver, and Gold, with the only noticeable difference being the amount of allocated disc space. Bronze comes with 30GB space (and is limited to one website), Silver 50GB, and Gold 100GB space.

Their VPS hosting features 4 plans, Iron, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. The entry-level plan only comes with 1GB of space and is limited to 1 website, so probably not suited for anything more than hosting a blog. Although Bronze comes with 30G space you are still limited to one website, Silver and Gold however allow for unlimited websites and have 50GB and 100GB space allocated respectively.
All plans come standard with complimentary migrations, Free SSL certificates, Free Daily Backups, and Free Domain Registrations.
Managed Hosting has 3 options, aptly named Managed Server - D4, Managed Server – D8, and Managed Server – D16. The first boasts 4GB Dedicated RAM, 80GB Dedicated SSD Disk Space, and 2 Dedicated Xeon vCPUs, whilst the top plan has 16GB Dedicated RAM, 300GB Dedicated SSD Disk Space, and 6 Dedicated Xeon vCPUs.

Website Builder
Verpex doesn’t have its own website builder, but Sitepad Builder is available in their cPanel. It helps users to easily build their websites with amazing Drag & Drop functionality, is less time-consuming than most builders, and comes pre-packed with fully responsive design templates, so users can build their web pages even if they have zero coding knowledge.
Besides Sitepad, they also have WordPress Manager by Softaculous installed.
Security
All Verpex data centers are equipped with physical security measures such as access controls, surveillance systems, and backup power generators to ensure the protection and availability of their servers.
Their network is protected by Umunify360, a comprehensive security suite designed for Linux web servers, which in a nutshell, is an Antivirus, Firewall, WAF, PHP Security Layer, and Patch Management system. While they do regular Software Updates, Patching, and monitoring for intrusions and vulnerabilities, customers are still responsible to keep their own websites up to date & secure by doing regular theme updates and making sure the free SSL that is included on all plans is active.
Verpex strongly encourages users to use strong passwords and to activate two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance the security of their accounts and prevent unauthorized access. One should note that this is not enabled by default.
OS
Verpex makes use of CloudLinux as its Operating System of choice. It is based on the CentOS operating system and uses the OpenVZ kernel and the RPM Package Manager (an open-source program for installing, uninstalling, and managing software packages in Linux). The available PHP versions they support are from 5.4 all the way up to 8.2.
Support
Verpex offers round-the-clock, expert support over Live Chat (the response I got was pretty much instant when I tried them out), Phone, and an Email Ticketing System. Typically, hosting support includes assistance with issues related to server management, website setup, configuration, troubleshooting, migrations, and other technical aspects of hosting. They also offer a larger-than-normal knowledge base, should you want to troubleshoot your issues yourself.

For me personally, Verpex ticks all the boxes. They might be a new company, but they are run by people that've been in this industry for long enough to know what matters – and it shows! All plans are scalable and affordable, security is obviously a big priority, customer service is great, and performance is second to none. Truly an excellent choice for anyone looking for a quality hosting provider.
