First impression

Serverspace is an international cloud provider that allows users to deploy and manage servers independently without in-depth knowledge of administration. The platform provides information about services, tariffs, and solutions for different types of tasks, as well as a large cloud management tutorial base. In addition to VPS, Serverspace also provides different services such as unlimited storage, application marketplace, DNS, CDN, API, CLI automation tools, etc. 

Serverspace users can create VPS with Linux, FreeBSD, and Windows operating systems.

A unique flexible calculator in the panel allows users to choose the amount of resources required for the project.

Trial Period

Serverspace provides an opportunity to test the control panel. After registration and account activation, the user is credited with bonus funds.

The provider also has a bonus system which is working by refilling the balance. The size of the percentage (+3%, +5%, +10%) depends on the amount of balance refill.

Billing Cycle

Billing is done every 10 minutes. Individuals can pay for services by any bank card or PayPal. It is possible to activate Autopay.

Control Panel 

Registration is free. Users can manage cloud infrastructure with a custom control panel. You can select the required service in the panel side menu. Server configuration customization is available in cloud server creation. You can select the Data Center, OS, number of CPUs, RAM, SSD, and bandwidth. 

You can create separate projects with their own infrastructure in the control panel within the account. It is also possible to add project participants with different roles: Owner, Administrator, and Accountant.

Limits

VPS configuration limits differ since Serverspace provides servers in different data centers. The main limits are specified in the tariff plans and calculator on the website or control panel. 

Traffic is not limited.

There are limits on the number of created resources, which can be expanded in coordination with technical support. Default creation limits are up to 25 virtual servers, up to 5 edge gateways, and up to 10 private networks.

Security

Serverspace has installed the Stingray data monitoring and analysis system to filter traffic and protect systems against DDoS attacks on the provider's infrastructure. Connection to the server is available via login and password or by the SSH key. The second option provides a more secure connection, as the key consists of two parts: public and private. You can also enable two-factor authentication via the application.

OS

At Serverspace users can deploy virtual servers with the latest versions of Linux, Windows, and FreeBSD operating systems. Available Linux distributions are Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlmaLinux, and Oracle Linux. It is also possible to create servers with PFSense network operating systems.

Support

Technical support works around the clock and responds within 30 minutes. Specialists will promptly help in solving technical issues and tell you about the structure of the service. Support is available by phone, website chat, and via the ticket system in the control panel.

Conclusion

Serverspace is a cloud provider with democratic prices. The ability to customize your own server configuration is great. Suitable for both large projects and startups that need small amount of resources. Administration at the OS level is for an additional cost.
