I am a website designer and developer for over 7 years now, and I worked with several hosting companies in the past for each website project I handle.
First impression
As one of the early pioneers in web and cloud hosting, TMDHosting has been providing top-notch hosting solutions for over 15 years. They continue to innovate and adapt to the changing needs of the industry, ensuring that their customers receive the most advanced and reliable hosting platform. Their powerful servers, lightning-fast load times, and robust security features are the foundation for your website’s growth and success.
TMDHosting is a web hosting service to check out for your shared, VPS, dedicated, cloud, and reseller hosting needs. It has excellent customer service and a rich selection of plans jam-packed with features.
TMDHosting was founded by Peter Darazhanski in 2007 and has grown into a medium-sized web-hosting company with over 300,000 thousand websites hosted on the platform. The company is based in Orlando, Florida and it is popular for offering robust hosting plans at affordable prices.
Trial period
Unlike any other web hosting providers, TMDHosting don’t offer a Free Trial on any of their hosting services, domains or website builder tools, though they do have a 30 Days Money Back Guaranteed.
Billing cycle
TMDHosting offers three tiers of competitively priced shared web hosting: Starter, Business, and Professional. Each plan includes a free domain name, as well as unlimited storage, monthly data transfers, subdomains, and email—they're very attractive offerings.
Starter (starting at $8.95 per month, or $4.95 per month with a one-year plan) has a single-core CPU and 1GB of RAM, which makes it a plan aimed at sites with less-demanding needs. It lets you host a single website and offers more than 200 website-enhancing apps and scripts. Unfortunately, Starter disallows add-on domains. The Business plan (starting at $9.95 per month, or $6.95 per month with an annual plan) builds on Starter's base by offering a two-core CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, and unlimited hosted sites and add-on domains. Professional (starting at $14.95 per month, or $9.95 per month with a 12-month agreement) tops Business by giving you a three-core CPU and 3GB of RAM.
Control panel
TMDHosting uses the modern cPanel to help you manage your website files, emails, databases, domains, and everything else.
The cPanel offer comes with all hosting plans on TMDHosting.
It is also very easy to add custom or professional email addresses, simply go to your Email section on your cPanel, and click on ‘Email Accounts’. Input your new email, password, and mailbox quota then click ‘Create Account’.

Limits
TMDHosting offers three excellent WordPress hosting tiers - Starter, Business, and Enterprise - that carry the same prices and specs as the company's shared web hosting packages. Its prebuilt environment comes with many WordPress-friendly features, including live malware protection and curated plug-ins that are designed to enhance your experience.
Mainly the basic wordpress hosting plan which is the Starter plan has limits such as amount of website/domain can host or the amount of GB storage. Starter Plan can only host 1 website, up to 50GB SSD storage, no Backup feature, and 5 MySQL databases only.
But what’s included on the hosting plans are the following: Free SSL Certificate, 1-Click Staging, Staging and Cloning tools, Wordpress debugging tools, Easy email account management, Unlimited email account, 24/7 Customer support and much more.
Security
TMDHosting offers ID Protect ($9.99 per year) for domain privacy, SiteLock ($19.95 per year) for Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protection, and a handful of other features for strengthening the security of your domain.
SSL Certificates provide the highest levels of industry standard security to conduct safe, secure eCommerce transactions, protect passwords, credit card numbers and most importantly, to secure your customer's information.
OS
Their hosting services offer Linux, Windows, and MAC operating service servers.
Support
TMDHosting has a wide range of customer support options. They include live chat, phone, ticket, email, knowledgebase, and tutorials.
When I logged on to the TMDHosting homepage, the live chat section popped up immediately. I decided to ask a few questions to see the effectiveness of their support.
I sent an email to the sales department asking whether or not the plans included a one-click installer. I received a reply within ten minutes answering my question in full. Again, the operator was helpful and polite.
Conclusion
TMDHosting brands itself as the perfect host for online entrepreneurs of all categories. The open-source apps on its list are mostly eCommerce tools and you can find ways to take advantage and make a profit. All hosting plans come at affordable prices.

FAQ:
✅ Is TMDHosting good value for money?
With unlimited SSD storage, unlimited bandwidth, and a number of free features, like a domain name, backups, and website migration, TMDHosting gives you terrific value. Regular prices aren’t as low as some hosts, but discounts are usually quite generous.
❔Does WordPress offer multi-user/multi-site feature and how does it work?
WordPress is a platform with many functionalities and as such it also offers a multi-user feature. It is called WordPress MU and can be enabled via the dashboard. The plugins and themes are controlled by the administrator only and the individual WPMU users cannot upload features by themselves, which differentiates it from the single-user version of the application. A normal user can only operate with the ones made available by the system administrator.
Individual themes can be made available to all blogs or just to specific ones.
All these features of WordPress MU make it a perfect fit to easily manage large networks of blogs, online news websites, magazines, universities and even large companies, running corporate blogging systems behind firewalls.
