• What is the best hosting control panel?

    • views 1325

I used the ISP panel for 3 years, now I`m looking for a new hosting, but I learned they all work on the ISP Panel and even requires money for the license. I looked at other hosters and realized that cPanel/Directadmin is used very rarely. Parallel Plesk is used a little bit more often, but also rarely. Is ISP really the market leader? Experts, can you tell me whether it is worth it to move on to another control panel? Which one is the leader in hacking prevention? Can you give me some statistics?

In fact, we can`t deny that the ISPmanager panel is the leader among the control panels for hosting, although, of course, it is very common.  But even with its widespread use there are problems. In my personal experience, we had repeated problems recovering backups on 4 versions of the panel. We can say that it divides the branch of the championship with the cPanel. If we compare them with each other, then cPanel is preferable for a novice user, according to our customers` feedback, because it is easy to learn. At the same time, it provides a fairly extensive functionality to the server administrator. When thinking about a higher level of security, don`t forget to update the panel to the latest stable version.

No one will give you statistics, of course. ISPmanager is more user friendly, that`s why a lot of users use it. VestaCP is free of charge.
ISP is the best and most commonly used panel, because it is a relatively cheap boxed product with regular updates.
ISP manager is one of the most inexpensive commercial control panels, working directly "out of the box" with all the necessary functions, convenient both for the user and the administrator, that`s why many hosting companies use it. If you already use it and you are satisfied with everything - we recommend that you keep it.
