Editor's opinion
Sean Thompson
I am a full-time web developer & IT professional with more than 18 years experience. I have been working with numerous hosting companies over the years.
First impression
MilesWeb is an India-based web hosting provider and internet domain registrar, that was founded in 2012 by Deepak Kori, Chetan Mahale, and Chinmay Dingore, with the aim to provide reliable and affordable hosting solutions bundled with superior support.
This award-winning company hosts a million+ websites and serves over 50,000 customers across the globe from their Tier-4 data centers (built to be completely fault-tolerant and have redundancy for every component). These are based in India, the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia and Singapore. They currently offer a wide range of super-fast web-hosting plans, all running on SSD NVMe drives, including Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS Hosting, and Dedicated Servers.
Trial Period
MilesWeb doesn’t offer any free trial periods for new users to try out their services but rather has a 30-day, full money-back guarantee on their Shard hosting offerings. Should you feel they are not the right fit for you or fail to meet your hosting expectation, you can request a full refund by contacting their billing department.
On their VPS Hosting plans, the guarantee is limited to 7 days.
Billing Cycle
MilesWeb offers a wide variety of hosting plans with an easy, user-friendly signup process. On Shared Hosting, users will have the option to choose between paying monthly, annually, or triennially, with some tasty discounts, up to 80% even, on offer for longer commitments, whilst on VPS Hosting you can choose between monthly or annual terms.
They currently accept all major Credit Cards, PayPal, RuPay, and Google Pay as valid payment methods.
Control Panel
As their range of hosting options is so broad, it comes as no surprise that they also offer multiple control panels to suit your specific needs. On Shared Hosting there is DirectAdmin and cPanel for their Linux-based servers, and Plesk for Windows options.
Their VPS plans will give you the option to choose between DirectAdmin, cPanel, Plesk (for Windows), and Webuzo Control Panel (a Multi-User Control Panel which helps you manage your cloud or dedicated server).
Limits
MilesWeb has 3 options to choose from on their Shared Hosting, namely Ignite, Elite, and Stellar – all coming in at ridiculously low prices. The entry-level plan features 50GB NVMe SSD storage space, 2 email accounts, 1 database, unmetered bandwidth, and you are allowed to host a single website. Elite will give you 75GB space, 20 email accounts, 10 databases, and 5 websites, whilst Stellar boasts 200GB hosting space, 100 email accounts, and 100 databases. This is also the only one that includes a free domain registration.
All Shared plans come standard with daily backups and LiteSpeed + LSCache for an all-in-one site acceleration solution.
Their VPS hosting has multiple options, all scalable to suit your specific needs. The entry-level plan starts with 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 25GB NVMe SSD space, and 1 TB Bandwidth, whilst their top plan features 12 vCPUs, 24GB RAM, 500GB NVMe SSD space, and 12 TB Bandwidth.
All VPS plans come with SSH/SFTP Access and run on an unrestricted 1Gbps network to ensure fast loading times.
Website Builder
On their Shared Hosting environment, MilesWeb includes the SitePad Website builder, a popular WYSIWYG website creator software, for free. It’s a super easy-to-use, drag-and-drop builder and comes packed with over 850 Responsive Themes, 40+ widgets, and more.
Security
All MilesWeb Shared Hosting plans come standard with a free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate, a free Web Application Firewall to keep all applications and Apl’s secure, a complimentary Malware scanner to find and remove threats in real-time, and enhanced DDoS Protection that includes making use of Anycast Nameservers, meaning any of a number of DNS servers can respond to DNS queries, most likely the one that is geographically closest, to provide the response. This reduces latency, improves uptime for the DNS resolving service, and provides protection against DNS flood DDoS attacks.
Users also have the option of buying more advanced SSL certificates, like a Rapid SSL, Wildcard SSL, or TrueBusinessID EV, at an additional monthly cost.
OS
MilesWeb runs CentOS (a manageable platform that suits a wide variety of deployments) on their Shared Hosting plans, whilst their VPS servers offer users to choose between CentOS, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux 8, Debian, ArchLinux, Rocky Linux, Fedora, or the FreeBSD operating system.
Support
MilesWeb prides itself on its impeccable support, which has been a pillar of its success. Their expert support agents are friendly, well-trained, and available 24/7 through Live Chat, Email, or Phone. To get in touch with MilesWeb support, or their billing department, you will have to log in to your client area first. I have tried them out on Live Chat, as well as email, and both response times were impressive, to say the least. Live Chat only took 10 seconds for a reply, whilst my email was answered within a minute.

Cons |
- Performance-driven hosting plans;
- Excellent Support;
- Free SSL certificates;
- 30-day money-back guarantee;
- 99.9& Uptime guarantee.

Overall, Miles Web seems to be a solid option for pretty much any kind of hosting. Their support is top class, prices ultra-affordable, and performance excellent. Some plans might overwhelm newbies as I feel they overcomplicate things but in general a good choice for novices and big corporations alike.
