I mostly use Cloudflare for static assets delivery, easy SSLs and a fast DNS management but this service can do much more than that. The free plan is more powerful than several paid CDN providers out there. If you want to serve static assets to your users faster, you must use Cloudflare that will use its global network to delivery your content at blazing fast speeds. +1 for Cloudflare!

Been using CloudFlare for more than 5 years as a CDN, DNS Manager and for Website protection against DDOS attacks. All of the above features with the free plan. They have an amazing service,DNS records are propagated instantly and they offer Reverse Proxy too.The best in the CDN. With payed services you can get a lot of extra features.
Cloudflare is too good when you are experiencing the slow loading speed of your website. They offer free CDN through which you can boost your website speed performance and security without paying anything. They do have a premium plan but that is not needed at all as in the basic free plan itself you can avail of many premium services like CDN, Flexible SSL, etc.
There are many other CDN providers like Stackpath (MaxCDN) but they are too expensive. So, without any hassle, you can go ahead with Cloudflare if you need a reliable CDN without spending any money on it.

Well I have been using Cloudflare for a lot of time and their service is unique. They are the best at Reverse Proxy and DNS management. I also use other services they offer regarding security which one is to activate a “shield” to protect your site from DDoS attack or to make GeoLocations restrictions.

I love Cloudflare services, they offer lots of value to online businesses. I no longer worry about attacks, no need for that with Cloudflare. They are the best CDN in the world. Highly recommended.

Our blogging site is using the Cloudflare CDN service, and it helps to speed up the site loading time. The company also offers Firewall rules, which provide an extra layer of protection in case you haven't applied any other rules or plugins. The configuration of Cloudflare to your site is straightforward, and within minutes, you will set up and configured all your settings. The best part is the service is free if you are limited to the lightweight site where you don't require further checks. If your site is down, you will get a Cloudflare error page, and Cloudflare would try to retry for the live site (though sometimes annoying)
Cons: The free version has limited reporting, and traffic report is also not encouraging.

I got to try Cloudflare's hosting for one of my websites and I am a big fan. Most of us already use Cloudflare CDN anyway, so to host your website on Cloudflare just ties it all together. I can confirm that my Google Pagespeed score went from 60/14 for desktop and mobile respectively to 94/76. It is very hard to rank high on Pagespeed for mobile nowadays so this was a big feat. Cloudflare hosting has definitely increased my SEO. The plans were a little more than what I'm used to paying, but the boost in speed and optimization will pay for itself.

I've been using cloudflare for 3yrs now. Even though I have hosting somehwere else, I always point my dns to cloudflare as they have most secured service. Aside from that, they make my websites run faster than usual. My sites are secured from virus and hackers. I can't compare the price to other host as they offer different service. But i will be using cloudflare as long as my sites are running

I have been using Cloudflare for years for my websites and for my clients websites. I believe it is the best service to prevent DDoS and some other attacks today. The pricing varies depending on needs, however even the free plan can provide some security. Support is decent for enterprise customers. In the past couple of years there was just one major outage a couple of months ago. The UI is intuitive and in the Enterprise plan there is a possibility to ingest logs. It is difficult to list all the good things about Cloudflare in a couple of sentences. Caching, CDN, virtual patching, VPN-like services and a bunch of other innovations that are making the Internet faster, safer and better.

NO DOUBT that every website must be added to Cloudflare, it's really a must at least their free plan. All of my websites and my client's websites have been linked to Cloudflare to get more speed and security.

One of the best CDN of the world. The Cloudflare services are based on domains, not hosts. And all services are provided to increase performance and security to the configured domains. It will act as a proxy to your host for a specific server. In the free plan you can use the global CDN with excellent latency and bandwidth without network limits. You can save a lot of bandwidth and server resources with Cloudflare cache. Their DNS environment is excellent and propagate usually in less than one minute (of course it depends of the other ISPs). The anti DDoS service is free and can receive high bandwidth of DDoS. All of resources can be managed through Cloudflare API. They offer free SSL (with wildcard) and can connect to your server using your self-signed SSL. In the paid plan you will have some more features that will help increase your site performance. Cloudflare will also hide your website IP (however your website can publish the IP if some connection happen outside of cloudflare). The support is incredible fast (even for free plans). They have an excellent uptime and for years. I saw only one big problem that blocked cache updates and website configurations for 6 hours, but I never get any site offline due Cloudflare proxy problems. They also offer firewall rules to add extra protection layer to some links (based on patterns). Cloudflare also offer Cloudflare Workers tool that can provide you a way to run Javascripts inside Cloudflare as a serverless service. You can use in the free plan. The load balance service works very well and the price is not high as other big companies. To paid plans, they offer Argo to reduce the traffic latency, but from my experience I did not get any great number to recommend this service. They offer up to 35% less latency, but sometimes I get same or higher latency. I always recommend them as DNS amanger, CDN and cache. With few clicks you can have all of your media and static pages inside of great CDN and cache service for free. In the paid plan, they also convert all of your medias to webp (inside of cache). The most poulasr CMS, like Wordpress, have plugins that integrate the Cloudflare CDN with the CMS to avoid any cache update problem. I already configured a lot of domains using free, Pro and Business plans and, from my experience, the most important improvements you get on free plan.
I will tell you this- I LOVE CLOUDFLARE! Each of their product is well through out. My only crib is that the pro plans sound a bit expensive. I have Sucuri for firewall and that costs me around $15 a month, compared to $20 for Cloudflare. But Sucuri doesn't have as good CDN's. Plus, did you know that Cloudflare Domain Registrar has no markup? My .com domains renew at just $8 a year now! Very pleased with them so far.

Cloudflare is awesome and I use the free version of it on all my sites. It provides great security and increased speeds and I love how it integrated with most hosting providers so all you need to do is click enable and your done. Another thing I love about cloudflare is that you can use it to force SSL and hide your personal information.

We highly recommend not to purchase the cheapest hosting package. Usually, they come with a row of issues: the server is often down, the hardware is outdated, lousy and slow support, registration and payment errors, etc.
For your convenience, we have created a tool that can help you to choose the right hosting package for you just by answering a few simple questions.
CMS is a content management system. A lot of hosting providers offer so-called CMS optimized packages. However, this is a marketing trick because most CMSs do not have special software or hosting requirements.
Bulletproof hosting - it’s a type of service that allows to host almost any type of content, even the restricted one (adult content, warez, spam etc). Bulletproof hosting providers do not remove your content in case someone reports an abuse.
Unlimited hosting - refers to companies that provide packages with unlimited disk space, bandwidth, number of domains, databases or email accounts, etc. This is usually a marketing trick but sometimes you can find something worth a try.
Secure hosting - it’s a type of service when the hosting provider is mostly responsible for the security of the user’s account: updates the software installed on their servers, provides an antivirus and malware scanner, firewalls and basic anti-DDoS protection, etc.
DDoS-protected hosting - companies that provide packages that include anti-DDoS protection. These packages are considerably more expensive than regular ones. Nevertheless, they’re totally worth their price because the company will ensure that your website is secured from cyber attacks.
The more comfortable the control panel is, the easier will it be for you to change the website and hosting account settings.
Most hosting providers that are in TOP20 in our rating offer user-friendly control panels, such as cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin. That’s why we recommend to pay attention to other, more important parameters, while choosing a hosting provider.
