I used Amazon EC2 service for a long period of time. I didn't face any issue with the system. Everything worked well. + the costs were okay than Microsoft Azure.
Although their customer support system didn't turn out as good as Mircosoft Azure or any other. One has to wait for days to finally get a response from them or not at all.
Pros: Reliable, Good performance
Cons: Not a very welcoming customer support.

When choosing Amazon Web Services, you are making a very powerful choice but it is not for the faint of heart. AWS is most things that you need it to be: speed, efficiency, diverse and/or secure. You can tailor AWS to your needs, but not without in-depth technical understanding. In fact it's so technical that you'll see some devs hiring other devs to make up for this lack in understanding.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a big player in the cloud VPS services. They have much more services than just VPS servers, like Content Delivery Network, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and so on. When you sign up with AWS, you will get a full 1-year free trial to try out their various services. If you have a large amount of data you want to move to AWS, they have many solutions for you. I have been using their service for a long time and loving it. Their pricing is also very fair. If you have any concern about the sudden spike on your website and getting down, then you can absolutely rely on AWS on this matter. I would highly recommend AWS for anyone looking for true cloud experience, although the learning curve for all of their services might be steep.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) continues to be the market leader for a definite reason. They are the best in what they do, and in this case, they continue to offer services that are designed to meet purposes. Be it Elastic Search, CDN, or different tiered platforms, all just form a unique and pretty useful stack which is a definite requirement for any website owner. We have our internal in-house developed dashboard meant for order processing hosted on AWS, and there is no doubt that we continue to get amazed by the kind of services and support we get. Very rarely, rather never you would need to contact support. The only negative I see with AWS is their pricing which makes a hole in your pocket, specially when you are a small company.

I really like the GPU instances that they have but it's quite complicated to get approval to rent a powerful one, I had to talk to customer support for 3 DAYS to give me access to the WEAKEST GPU instance available which is frustrating. So I guess I didn't have a good experience with their support team.
I use them to host my own website because of their 12month free hosting on the micro instance plan which is nice to have but it's actually 720 hours of up time meaning it's not really a full year, I exhausted all of the hours in 5 month.
I hate navigating their UI since it's very complicated compared to other hosting services.
Overall, they provide reliable and trustworthy since they're ready for enterprise applications. So I recommend going with them if you have the budget.

I like the idea of pay as you go lead me to check out Amazon's AWS Service. I found the service highly reliablewith slower speeds then other competitors. I do not care much for their interface but worked through it. I found the price was decent for advertising but it will sneak up on you quick with other things that may pop up. I would recommend this as a test bed on many type of sites and applications.

I have signed up and used various AWS services, and they have amazing capabilities. The only problem I find is that their control panel is not always straightforward to navigate, and billing is not too clear. This means that if you are not technically minded or advanced, it would be very difficult to use AWS without external help. I never used their support service as it is paid, but their capabilities and reliability are amazing if you know what you are doing.
For the techies, Amazon wins. It's really hard for a non-tech person to understand where everything is initially, but when you have an entire year free (which they offered when I worked on it) it kinda makes sorting things out fine.
I recommend this for the application builds more so than your average website because it has the muscle you need to run a larger load and the freedom to run it the way you want to run it.
Pricing is fair, depends on your usage and they provide you with good information. Speed is very good. Reliability is very good. Support is not as good as some of the others because they can do whatever they want and know that developers (who use this more than the average consumer) don't like asking support and would rather go to stack overflow or something.

I have been using AWS.AMAZON shared hosting for almost 9 months now and I can say they are really good. Their customer service is really good. They are ready to help me anytime of the day. No matter it is a holiday or a normal day. Even during the time of emergency, they are always there to help. And the hosting is really good. I rarely see any downtime and they got 3 different server locations USA,CANADA and CHINA.

Amazon is the best ever hosting regarding speed and quality. as per my experience, it is good for any kind of business like for mentioned website I am using ec2 for my WordPress store and its speed is awesome although it is a bit expensive but I still love it because its speed and quality. The only bad thing about AWS is its support issue and it is very difficult to use like AWS is a very big platform that comes with a large number of options only professional AWS experts can use it perfectly like do not have easy interface like other hosting companies. like you need to take an AWS course to know how to use it otherwise you have to pay for it to someone even for doing the little task and sometimes even for checking.

The first time using AWS services was a couple of years ago when I got a free one-year promotion to test almost all services. After creating a couple of projects using AWS services, I moved more and more there.
Service connectivity, relatively easy use, and good support are one of the main reasons for using Amazon AWS. I think that the free tier offered by Amazon is one of the best things, because, without any need to spend money, it offers you to try all the services and make sure if it is the right thing for you.
Also, documentation and support are some of the best things, the only drawback could be a slightly higher price which may not be so good when it comes to personal projects, but for the larger projects, it is probably the best choice.

I have used AWS for most of cloud computing requirements. For 3-4 years, I have been using EC2 instance for hosting and S3 bucket for document and media hosting. I have also user AWS Lambda and API Gateways for serverless computing. I will recommend AWS EC2 for cloud computing and amplify for website deployment. AWS is very reliable as they have huge forums and support team to help you in any situation.
Pros - Extensive offerings and way they are deployed means its really easy to scale up/down as your business needs - Free tier offering means you can start small for free for the first year. Cons - Not a hosting provider you want to use if you are non-technical. Takes a technically knowlegable person to setup and maintain. - If you don't right size your setup you can very quickly run up large bills.

We highly recommend not to purchase the cheapest hosting package. Usually, they come with a row of issues: the server is often down, the hardware is outdated, lousy and slow support, registration and payment errors, etc.
For your convenience, we have created a tool that can help you to choose the right hosting package for you just by answering a few simple questions.
CMS is a content management system. A lot of hosting providers offer so-called CMS optimized packages. However, this is a marketing trick because most CMSs do not have special software or hosting requirements.
Bulletproof hosting - it’s a type of service that allows to host almost any type of content, even the restricted one (adult content, warez, spam etc). Bulletproof hosting providers do not remove your content in case someone reports an abuse.
Unlimited hosting - refers to companies that provide packages with unlimited disk space, bandwidth, number of domains, databases or email accounts, etc. This is usually a marketing trick but sometimes you can find something worth a try.
Secure hosting - it’s a type of service when the hosting provider is mostly responsible for the security of the user’s account: updates the software installed on their servers, provides an antivirus and malware scanner, firewalls and basic anti-DDoS protection, etc.
DDoS-protected hosting - companies that provide packages that include anti-DDoS protection. These packages are considerably more expensive than regular ones. Nevertheless, they’re totally worth their price because the company will ensure that your website is secured from cyber attacks.
The more comfortable the control panel is, the easier will it be for you to change the website and hosting account settings.
Most hosting providers that are in TOP20 in our rating offer user-friendly control panels, such as cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin. That’s why we recommend to pay attention to other, more important parameters, while choosing a hosting provider.
